【摘要】:Insulatingfirebrick(IFB)areclassifiedbytheirbulkdensityandreheatchange(seeClassificationC155).ThistestmethoddefinesthermalstabilitybymeasurementofIFBrsquo;reheatchangefollowing24hatatesttemperature.Sincethistestexposestheentiresampletoanisothermaltemperaturecondition,theusershouldbeawarethatmostapplicationsforIFBinvolveathermalgradientwhichmaycausetheIFBrsquo;dimensionstochangedifferentially.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthepermanentlinear(andvolume)changeofinsulatingfirebrickuponreheatingunderprescribedconditions.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
