【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversheat-treatedcarbonsteelandalloysteelforgingswithmandatorytoughnessrequirements.Theseforgingsareintendedforpressurevessels,feedwaterheaters,andsimilaruses.1.2Theseforgingsincludetubesheets,covers,channelbarrels,integralforgedchannels,rings,nozzles,flanges,andsimilarparts.1.3Allgradesareconsideredweldableunderproperconditions.1.4Themaximumthicknessofforgingsproducedtothisspecificationislimitedonlybythecapacityoftheselectedgradetorespondtoanyheattreatmentspecifiedandtomeetthespecifiedmechanicaltests,includingimpacttestsatthespecifiedtemperature.1.5MaterialsuppliedtothisspecificationshallconformtotherequirementsofSpecificationA788/A788M,whichoutlinesadditionalorderinginformation,manufacturingrequirements,testingandretestingmethodsandprocedures,marking,certification,productanalysisvariations,andadditionalsupplementaryrequirements.1.6IftherequirementsofthisspecificationareinconflictwiththerequirementsofSpecificationA788/A788M,therequirementsofthisspecificationshallprevail.1.7Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSI[metric]unitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasthestandard;withinthetextandtables,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.1.8Unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicable"M"specificationdesignation,thematerialshallbefurnishedtotheinch-poundunits.
