【摘要】:Thisguidedefinestheprincipalelementsofinformation,whichareconsideredimportantandworthrecordingandstoringpermanentlyincomputerizeddatabases.Sufficientinformationisprovidedinthisguidetoenabletheusertoconstructadatabasestructuresuitablefortheintendedapplicationinvolvingthermalinsulation.Becauseofincreasedactivityinbuildingcomputerizedmaterialsdatabasesandthedesiretoencourageuniformityandeaseofdatacomparisonandinterchange,theserecommendedformatsprovidefortheinclusionofspecificelementsofthermaltransmissiontestdataindatabases.Thisguidehasnoimplicationondatarequiredformaterialsproductionorpurchase.Reportingofactualtestresultsshallbeasdescribedintheactualmaterialsspecificationorasagreeduponbetweenthevendorandpurchaser.ThesuggestedsetofunitsfortherecommendedstandardformatgiveninthisguideisSI.Thisguide,however,doesnotprecludeothersetsofunits,suchasinch-pound(IP).1.1Thisguideprovidesrecommendedformatsfortherecordingofthermaltransmissiontestdataforthermalinsulationandsimilarmaterialsforinclusionincomputerizedmaterialpropertydatabases.Fromthisinformation,thedatabasedesignershouldbeabletoconstructthedatabasedictionarypreparatoryfordevelopmentofadatabaseschema.1.2Thisguideisapplicabletothermaltransmissiontestdataobtainedfromstandardtestmethodsthatcoverplanarandradialspecimengeometries.1.3Thisguideisnotintendedforthermaltransmissiondataobtainedforthermalinsulationassembliesorsystems(thatis,heattransmissioncoefficientsforwalls,roofs,ceilings,andfloors).Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
